New Destiny Appoints Mr. Surj Uppal as President
Vancouver, BC – August 26, 2025 – New Destiny Mining Corp., (TSX-V: NED), (the “Company” or “NED”) a British Columbia-based mining company focused on expanding high value exploration, announces a leadership transition. Mr. Surj Uppal, currently a NED Director, has been appointed as President of the Company, effective immediately.
Mr. Uppal’s appointment marks a significant step in advancing the New Destiny Mining’s next phase of growth.

Mr. Uppal currently serves on the New Destiny Mining Board of Directors, brings extensive leadership experience gained through senior roles with several of Canada’s leading organizations. His diverse background includes experience on private and public boards, and leadership experience with private and publicly traded companies. This track record, and exceptional relationship building skills, will help guide New Destiny Mining through its next stage of corporate development.
With over 25 years of experience as a senior level marketing and demand generation executive, Mr. Uppal has a diverse background having worked with many of Canada’s top companies, including Save-On-Foods, McDonald’s Canada, the BC Lottery Corporation, and the Jim Pattison Auto Group. He has successfully executed growth, rejuvenation, and optimization strategies tailored to meet evolving business objectives. In addition, Mr. Uppal has served as Vice President of Business Development for multiple organizations, playing a key role in refining and advancing corporate strategies.
A graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Mr. Uppal is recognized for his energy, enthusiasm, and results-driven leadership style. He has built strong, productive relationships at all levels – both within organizations and across Western Canada’s business community. These relationships have facilitated successful collaborations, optimization efforts, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
